Wow!
This is all so new to us. My mother in law came to live with us 3 months ago with stage 3 alzheimers. I am the major caregiver, bathing, feeding, meals, laundry, meds, activities but my husband is getting better at helping. I found your site when a friend suggested "toys for alzheimer" and will definitely be coming back for more. Probably the tapes I believe she will really like. Thank you for all the links and great products too.

We received all the items and they certainly look like fun for her. She does love the collar -- it smells great and is very comforting -- just like her real dog, Buddy. We have the things around the house so she can "find" them on her own. If we give her an object she won't explore it but if she finds it she is much more likely to respond!

In fact, I think it should be called "The Best Alzheimer's Website"! I'm even of thinking of making a career move from being a special ed. teacher to an activity director in Alzheimer's facility.
